New Hope is a Church in Mission
Jesus told His disciples that His followers were to be His anointed witnesses beginning in Jerusalem, then in Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth. At New Hope we live to release the reign and rule of Jesus Christ on earth beginning here in Va Beach and extending to people groups who have not heard of Him all over the world.

In addition, New Hope is one of over 2000 local Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches in the United States and part of an International ministry that reaches into over 50 countries around the world. As a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance we are part of an alliance of believers, who love Jesus Christ and are joined together in local churches with a commitment to fulfill His Great Commission.

"All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."- Matthew 28:18-20

Along with sending out people who will go to people in other countries in order to make disciples, we pray for their work, give to their work and periodically organize short term missions trips for teens and adults to visit and help with the work overseas.
