Welcome to New Hope Christian Fellowship!
We are a church that is on the move - learning together to live in the life and hope that friendship with Jesus Christ gives. When you come to New Hope we believe a life changing encounter awaits you. We are a Christ centered, biblically founded, faith community whose aim is to reach and equip young adults and families to become people full of Christ's excellent character so that He, through them, can change the world.

Whether you are new in town, looking for a change, or seeking out real meaning in life you will find a warm welcome and genuine opportunity for relationship and renewal at New Hope Christian Fellowship.

We have a safe and loving place for children, an exciting youth ministry for teens, contemporary worship, life changing messages and small groups that meet throughout the week where you can meet new friends and grow in Christ. Our new Café Two42 is a place dedicated to the purpose of bringing people together to build relationships and grow in Christ. You can come together to study, get to know someone new, or reconnect with someone over a fresh cup of coffee.

New to the area?
Transition brings questions and uncertainty. Where's the grocery store? Where can I find a dependable dry cleaner or mechanic? A great find in the midst of it all is a community of faith whose people are committed to helping others find their way - around town and into friendships that will last. At New Hope we want to make it easy for you to find answers to your most basic questions and make new friends in the process. That's why on your first visit you'll probably find someone asking you to their house for dinner. Not to talk about our church but just to get to know you as a person and see how they can help you feel at home in this new area!

Need a safe place for your children and youth?
The mission of our children's ministry is: To partner with families to equip our children to become kids of spiritual excellence who impact their world for Christ. We will accomplish this by demonstrating God's immeasurable love for them and the world through - Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship and Missions.

Our children and youth ministry teams are dedicated to providing a safe, loving environment to help your children discover the joy and reality of a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Need a safe place for you?
We understand that there is a lot of hurt in the world. People get beat up and torn down. At New Hope we provide a sanctuary for hurting people. We have people who will love you by giving their time, a listening ear and promise from God's Word, the Bible. And as you are ready a direction that will point you toward a next step.

Need a friend?
Building genuine friendships is a tall order in our busy culture. School, jobs, youth sports, after school activities make it hard to connect with people. At New Hope we try to keep things simple and focused - with venues that allow people to connect with Jesus Christ and with each other in our equipping process.

Need to grow spiritually?
This is the sweet spot of the mission we feel God has given us. Because of the uniqueness of the Tidewater area we have developed a three-year life development path designed to move someone from being an interested window shopper to becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Together - we are dedicated to equipping one another to become people of excellence in every area of our life so that we can, by Christ's mighty power, do our part to change the world for His glory.
